Interfaith Hospitality Network of Albuquerque

IHN helps communities to unite to provide shelter, meals and compassionate assistance to those experiencing homelessness.  By working with faith communities  and social services the IHN of Albuquerque program can do what individuals alone can not do.

Host congregations provide accommodations for families for a week at a time on site.  Families rotate to different sites, while participating in the program for 30 to 90 days.  The host congregation furnishes clean, safe overnight lodging and two meals a day.

The Day Center
*2801 Lomas Blvd. NE*

Families use a day center from 8:00am to 5:00pm to shower, do laundry, care for pre-school aged children and search for employment.  Some guests are employed during the day and go to work and the children go to school during the school year.  The center provides guests with a mailing address and a home base to conduct employment and housing searches.  Our IHN program director and program coordinator work closely with the families , helping each individual family set and achieve their goals.
